Psychology, Spirituality and Culture from the Caribbean

The Institute of Applied Transpersonal Psychology (IPTA) is a space dedicated to the training, dissemination, and development of Caribbean Transpersonal Psychology and Spiritual Diversity. It integrates psychology, spirituality, culture, and consciousness through international online training programs in collaboration with CEENFORD Expert, the upcoming Professional Certification in Caribbean Spiritual Psychology, and a program of lectures and workshops on Transpersonal Psychology and Caribbean Spiritualities. This knowledge integrates mind, spirit, culture, and roots.

Healing, Nature and Roots of the Caribbean

The Caribbean Nature-Based Healing Program integrates psychology, nature, somatic regulation, and Caribbean culture to create experiences of connection, reflection, and well-being. Through RAÍZ CARIBE – Caribbean Root Experience and the Caribbean Oracle as a Participatory Symbolic Tool, the program invites participants to reconnect with their bodies, nature, and cultural roots to facilitate emotional integration and meaning-making. Returning to nature is also returning to our roots.

Understanding, Integrating and Accompanying the Spiritual Experience

The Spiritual Integration Program offers a specialized space for understanding complex spiritual experiences from a psychological, transpersonal, and culturally sensitive perspective. It integrates specialized psychological assessments in spiritual and cultural trauma with clinical consultations for therapists, providing support to both individuals and professionals seeking to understand the relationship between mental health, spirituality, trauma, and cultural diversity. Because a spiritual experience needs to be understood within its context, not simply labeled.
